In the twists and turns of history, Tauragė found itself in the environment of two different ethnic, religious and political worlds. Sometimes this land had to be a wall separating these worlds, and sometimes a bridge connecting them. As a result, Tauragė acquired only its character and unique, inimitable shade. During the tour we will get acquainted with the history of the former customs and visit the Tauragė Regional Museum. We will continue to admire the unique park by the Jūra (Sea) River, get acquainted with the churches, monuments and other historical heritage that have survived in the city.
The Mysterious Land of Skaudvilė
In ancient times, the Skaudvilė area belonged to the land of Karšuva. The founding date of the city is considered to be 1760. The name of Skaudvilė is of surname, derived from Mr. Skaudvilis of those places. The city began to expand after the construction of the Riga-Karaliaučius highway in 1847. The city itself is a monument of urban planning, radial layout. The beginnings of this plan date back to the 19th century. at the beginning, when a section of the main street between the church and the road junction turned into a square.

Hiking Route in Plynosios High Swamp
In Pagramantis Regional Park, the Plynoji Upland Hiking Trail is fully equipped. The high marsh itself can be found by driving through the Balskai dam towards Tauragė. Its location is indicated by information signs. While traveling, visitors will discover four stops, where they will find more detailed information about the swamp, the swamp with its forests, and the species of plants and animals found here. At the final stop, visitors will have the opportunity to climb the observation tower and view the expanses of the swamp from above.

Akmenos Educational Trail
Located on the left bank of the Akmena River to introduce the landscape of the Akmena River Valley. It starts and ends at the "Lakštingalų slėnis" (Nightingale Valley). Walking along the trail, we will climb on a high and steep cliff-outcrop, which offers a view of the "Lakštingalų slėnis". On the outcrop there is a rest area where you can relax after climbing the stairs.

Lylava Cognitive Trail
Equipped to acquaint visitors with the values of the hydrographic values (natural stream, key forest habitats). It meanders through the unique and expressive banks of the Lylava stream. Rare species found in the Lithuanian Red Book were found here - onion toothpick, status dragonfly, common gladiolus, bear garlic. Ion fern grasslands are growing abundantly. Bird species were observed and rare in Lithuania: white-backed woodpeckers, green, gray and black melet.

Cognitive Trail "On the Way of Love"
This cognitive pathway is open to all those who promote cognition and active leisure, whether children, adults or the elderly.
The purpose of this educational road is to get acquainted with the beautiful environment of the Pagramantis region, prominent mounds, unique outcrops, the confluence of the Jūra and Akmena rivers, and vegetation. The journey along this road will not take long for adults or children, because as you walk you will learn many legends, interesting stories. And in a special section of this path, called the "Way of Love", you will not only get to know herbs and their purpose in more detail, but you will also learn spells and participate in inner cleansing rites. You will also learn what powers a love stone has. The rippling water on one side and the changing green landscapes on the other will not let you get bored.
